The two wells are located in Aghlad, about 15 km from the commune seat of M’chira and 2 km southwest of the archaeological site of Boutakhmaten.

These wells date back to the Roman period, as evidenced by their architecture and proximity to the site of the ancient Sparsanova. They feature a cylindrical design made of finely polished stone, with a dome roof and a rectangular opening topped with a rounded lintel. The wells, oriented towards the north, measure 0.80 m in diameter and 7 m in depth.
